Artist, Counsellor, Facilitator
I love seeing people discover their authentic selves.
I believe passionately in the transformative power of creativity.
By combining art and expression within therapy, I aim to help people to understand the narrative of their lives, and move toward a life of freedom and wholeness.

HELEN
As a therapist and an artist, I am fascinated by the transformative power of storytelling in revealing the subconscious - the true stories we encounter when we reach a little deeper.
The very act of creating feels like a liminal space to me, as is the process I am taken on through the themes that emerge in the thread and paint. I strive for honesty in moving beyond the narrative I want to tell, and into the true story that continues to emerge from within.
I lived for 6 years Southern Africa, spending part of that time offering therapeutic art in deprived communities. Until recently, I spent 8 years working in the US as an established artist with gallery representation. My years of living cross culturally has taught me to value the symbolic messages and the power of storytelling within nature that is continuous throughout the generations and across every race and culture.
In 2016 I returned to the UK and have settled in rural Devon, where I am marrying together my love for art as a therapeutic medium, as well as my own artistic journey. I currently work out of my home studio, offering therapy in my private practice and running creative art support groups in the community.
